Aubainerie is delighted and proud to be collaborating once again with the Véro & Louis Foundation as part of the Différent comme toi campaign. It's a very natural association since it's in line with our shared fundamental values of respect for uniqueness and difference. 



We, therefore, invite you to mark Autism Month by purchasing a piece from the collection, a portion of the proceeds of which will be donated to the Véro & Louis Foundation for the creation of long-term living environments for autistic people aged 21 and over in need of day-to-day support.

Véro & Louis Foundation

The Véro & Louis Foundation, founded in 2016, has set itself the mission of creating long-term living environments for autistic people aged 21 and over with or without an intellectual disability.

In addition to being a residential environment, the Foundation has developed educational programming to support its residents and help them develop their potential and autonomy.

The first home in Varennes was inaugurated in June 2021. Two Maisons Véro & Louis projects are currently under development, one in Victoriaville and the other in the Laurentians.

Guylaine Guay

Patron of the Véro & Louis Foundation, author and actress Guylaine Guay is also the mother of 2 young autistic adults. Her book "Deux garçons à la mère", published in 2014, was the spark that gave birth to the Véro & Louis Foundation.

Since then, she has devoted herself to raising the Foundation's profile in order to offer a better quality of life to autistic people aged 21 and over in need of day-to-day support.

Différent comme toi Campaign

Fondation Véro & Louis returns for a 7th year with its signature Différent comme toi campaign. On sale via the Foundation's online boutique, in one of Aubainerie's stores and on Aubainerie.com, the public is invited to purchase the famous Différent comme toi sweater and become an ambassador of difference, quite naturally.

Thanks to the generosity of Quebecers, the first six editions of the campaign have raised a net total of over $2,000,000. The sums raised through the Foundation's various fundraising campaigns and through donations received throughout the year have a direct impact on the quality of life and well-being of autistic adults and their families, as they help finance the construction of Maisons Véro & Louis across Quebec, research projects and the educational activities program offered to residents and external participants.
