CLAIMING PRIZES

19. Modification. The Contest Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this contest, in whole or in part, should any event, error or human intervention occur that could compromise or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the contest as contemplated by these Rules. 20. Inability to act – labour dispute. 21. Limitation of liability – participation. By participating or attempting to participate in this contest, any person releases the Contest Organizer, its affiliated companies, advertising and/or promotional agencies, employees, agents and representatives from any liability for any damage resulting from participation or attempted participation in the contest.

22. Authorization. If the selected winner is a minor, their parent or legal guardian must sign the form before the prize is awarded. Upon receipt of the duly signed form, the Contest Organizer will deem the selected participant the Winner, and the parent or legal guardian may claim the prize on the Winner’s behalf.

11. Failure to comply with any of the above requirements or any other condition in these Contest Rules will result in disqualification, and a new draw will be held until a participant is selected and declared the winner.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

12. Verification. All entries are subject to verification by the Contest Organizer. Any entry that is incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, or otherwise non-compliant will be rejected and will not be eligible for a prize.

13. Non-compliant participation. The Contest Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any person or cancel one or more entries from any person who participates or attempts to participate in the Contest in a manner contrary to these Rules. Such a person may be reported to the appropriate legal authorities.

14. Acceptance of prize. The prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred, substituted, or exchanged in whole or in part for cash, except as provided below.

15. Prize substitution. If, for reasons not related to the winner, the Contest Organizer cannot award a prize (or a portion thereof) as described, a prize of similar nature and equivalent value will be awarded, or, at the Organizer’s sole discretion, the monetary value of the prize (or the portion thereof) may be awarded.

16. Refusal of prize. A selected participant’s refusal to accept the prize as awarded releases the Contest Organizer from all obligations related to that prize.

17. Liability limit – use of prize. The winner releases Aubainerie stores and franchisees, Aubainerie Entrepôt, AUB44, their affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, employees, agents, and representatives from any liability for any damage arising from acceptance or use of the prize. To be declared the winner and prior to claiming the prize, the selected participant agrees to sign a release form, if required.

18. Liability limit – contest operation. Aubainerie stores and franchisees, Aubainerie Entrepôt, AUB44, their affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, employees, agents, and representatives disclaim all liability for any malfunction of computer components, software, or communication lines; any faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible, or erased transmissions; or any issue that may limit or prevent participation in the Contest. They also disclaim responsibility for damage or loss caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by downloading any software or forms or by the transmission of any Contest-related information.

19. Modification. The Contest Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest, in whole or in part, should an event, error, or human intervention occur that could affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Contest. In all cases, the Contest Organizer and its affiliates, agencies, suppliers, employees, agents, and representatives shall award no more prizes than those indicated in these Rules.

20. Inability to act – labour dispute. Aubainerie stores and franchisees, Aubainerie Entrepôt, AUB44, their affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, employees, agents, and representatives assume no responsibility of any kind if they are unable to act due to circumstances beyond their control, including strikes, lockouts, or other labour disputes within their establishments or those of service providers required for the Contest.

21. Liability limit – participation. By participating or attempting to participate in this Contest, each person releases the Contest Organizer, its affiliates, advertising and/or promotional agencies, employees, agents, and representatives from any damage they may suffer as a result of participation or attempted participation.

22. Authorization. By entering the Contest, each winner authorizes the Contest Organizer, its partners, representatives, and prize suppliers to use, at their discretion and without limitation as to period or territory, their name, photograph, and likeness for advertising or any other purpose deemed relevant, without further compensation.

23. Communications with participants. No communication or correspondence will be exchanged with participants except during registration, with selected participants, or with individuals who have subscribed to the newsletter.

24. Decisions of the Contest Organizer. Any decision made by the Contest Organizer or its representatives regarding this Contest is final and binding, subject to any decision by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec on matters under its jurisdiction.

25. Dispute. Any dispute regarding the organization or conduct of this Contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for resolution. Any dispute regarding the awarding of the prize may be submitted to the Régie solely for the purpose of attempted resolution.

26. Participant identification. For the purposes of these Rules, the participant is the person whose contact information is provided during entry. This individual will receive the prize if selected and declared the winner.

1. The Black Friday contest is organized by Groupe JNC 1944 inc. (Aubainerie) (hereinafter the "contest organizer"). The contest runs from October 14, 2025, to November 5, 2025, at 11:59 a.m. (ET) (hereinafter the "contest period").

ELIGIBILITY 

2. This contest is open to individuals aged 18 and older residing in Quebec at the time of the contest. 

Any participant who has not reached the age of majority may enter the contest, provided that the parent or legal guardian of the participant authorizes and agrees to comply with these regulations (the said parent or legal guardian must, among other things, agree to sign the declaration and release of liability and agree to receive the prize on behalf of the minor participant if the latter is declared a winner). 

3.  Employees, agents, and representatives of Aubainerie, Aubainerie Entrepôt, and AUB44 stores, their subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, participating merchants, prize suppliers, and any other party directly involved in the organization of this contest, as well as their immediate family members (brothers, sisters, children, father, mother), their legal or common-law spouse, and all persons with whom these employees, representatives, and agents are domiciled, are not eligible. By entering the contest, participants (and their guardian or parent, if applicable) agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of these official rules. 

HOW TO PARTICIPATE 

No purchase necessary. 

4. Participants must complete the online form via the Facebook or Instagram post.  

5. When filling out the entry form, participants must provide a valid email address. There is a limit of one entry per person. Participants must be subscribed to our newsletter at the time of the draw.

PRIZES 

6. The prize will be awarded as follows: 

Three $200 gift cards will be randomly drawn from all form entries submitted between October 14, 2025, and November 5, 2025, at 11:59 a.m. (ET).

7. The following conditions apply to the prizes: prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-redeemable for cash. 

DRAW

8. The random draw will be held at Aubainerie’s head office on 6 November 2025 at 10:30 a.m. (ET). If one or more drawn entries do not meet all the conditions stipulated in these rules, the entries of the selected individuals will be canceled, and a new draw will be conducted in accordance with these rules until the participants are selected and declared winners.

9.   The chance of winning depends on the total number of entries received, in accordance with paragraphs 2, 3, 4, and 5. 

CLAIMING PRIZES 

10.   In order to be declared a winner, any selected person must: 

a)  have correctly filled out the participation form, in accordance with paragraphs 2, 3, 4 and 5.

b)  be drawn at random as per the details in paragraph 4; 

c)  Respond within a maximum of 5 business days following receipt of the message sent by Groupe JNC 1944 inc. (Aubainerie) to confirm acceptance of the prize;

d) answer the mathematical skill-testing question; 

e) sign the declaration and release of liability form (hereinafter the "declaration form") that will be sent to them by email and return it to the contest organizer no later than three (3) days after receiving it. If a selected winner is not of legal age, their parent or legal guardian must sign the form before receiving the prize. Upon receipt of the signed form by the parent or legal guardian of the selected winner, the contest organizer will consider the latter as the winner (hereinafter the "Winner"), and the parent or legal guardian can claim the prize on behalf of the said Winner. 

11.   Failure to comply with any of the conditions mentioned above or any other condition stipulated in these participation rules will result in the cancellation of the participation of the selected individuals, and a new draw for these prizes will be conducted in accordance with these rules until the participants are selected and declared winners.

16.   Refusal to accept a prize. The refusal of a randomly selected person to accept a prize according to the terms of these rules releases the contest organizer from any obligation related to that prize to that person. 

17.   Limitation of liability – use of the prize. Any winning person releases Aubainerie stores and franchises, Aubainerie Entrepôt, and AUB44, their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, their employees, agents, and representatives from any liability for any damage they may suffer due to the acceptance or use of their prize. In order to be declared a winner and prior to receiving their prize, any selected person agrees to sign, if required, a declaration form to that effect. 

18.   Limitation of liability – contest operation. Aubainerie stores and franchises, Aubainerie Entrepôt, AUB44, their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, their employees, agents, and representatives disclaim any liability for the malfunction of any computer component, software, or communication line, for any transmission failure, incomplete, incomprehensible, or deleted by any computer or network, which may limit the ability or prevent any person from participating in the contest. Aubainerie stores and franchises, Aubainerie Entrepôt, and AUB44, their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, their employees, agents, and representatives also disclaim any liability for any damage or loss that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by the downloading of any software or form and by the transmission of any information for participation in the contest. 

19.   Modification. 20.   Impossibility to act – labor dispute. Aubainerie stores and franchises, Aubainerie Entrepôt, and AUB44, their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, their employees, agents, and representatives will not assume any liability of any kind in all cases where their inability to act results from a fact or situation beyond their control or from a strike, lockout, or any other labor dispute in their establishment or in the establishments of the organizations or companies whose services are used to hold this contest.
