The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed on aubainerie.com.
Aubainerie asks you to read these conditions carefully, since by proceeding with an online purchase transaction, you consent to these terms of use.
Prices and taxes
Prices displayed on aubainerie.com do not include sales tax or delivery charges.
Aubainerie charges sales tax on items ordered through this Web site. HST or local retail sales tax depends on the shipping address and will be calculated at the billing stage of the order.
The 5% GST (Goods and Services Tax) is added to all orders in all provinces, with the exception of the following provinces, where the HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) is added to all orders: Nova Scotia (15%) and Ontario, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador (13%). In addition, provincial sales tax is added to all orders in Quebec (9.975%).
If you return an item for a refund, the taxes you paid on that item will also be refunded. However, you will not be reimbursed for taxes paid on shipping and handling charges for this item, as these charges are not refundable once the package has been shipped.
Aboriginal sales tax exemption
In accordance with federal and provincial requirements, any person with aboriginal status under the Indian Act is eligible for sales tax exemption for online purchases, if the following conditions are met:
You meet government requirements for tax exemption;
Products are delivered to a reserve;
A signed copy of the Certificate of Indian Status (both sides) is e-mailed to service@aubainerie.com.
If any of these conditions are not met, sales taxes must be paid.
Delivery
Aubainerie will deliver your order to an address in Canada, according to the delivery method selected.
We strive to ship orders as quickly as possible, in the order in which they are received. Although our priority is to deliver your order as quickly as possible, delivery may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond our control.
Accuracy of information
Aubainerie cannot guarantee that the information or material on aubainerie.com is accurate or error-free. While we make every effort to ensure that all information is accurate and up-to-date, there may be errors or omissions in the content of this Web site, such as product descriptions, prices or availability.
In addition, dates of offers, prices or availability of items offered on our website may change without notice.
We work hard to present only the items we offer and to renew our stock regularly. However, it is possible that an item, size or color may be out of stock when you place your order. Product condition
We make every effort to display the items on our website as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that the color representation on your computer screen will be accurate.
Furthermore, if the merchandise purchased shows any manufacturing defect or if it appears to have been damaged during transport, we invite you to return the merchandise immediately, accompanied by the return form provided in your package, by following the appropriate procedure.
Modification or cancellation of an order
You may check and modify your shopping basket as many times as you wish before clicking on "Proceed to checkout" and proceeding to the billing, delivery and payment stages.
It is impossible to cancel or make any changes to an order once all payment steps have been completed.
Therefore, you must wait until you receive your items, return them to us by mail or to an Aubainerie store, and we will proceed with your refund.
Aubainerie guarantees a full refund on all items returned in accordance with its return policy.
Limitations
We reserve the right to refuse any order placed on our website, for reasonable reasons.
We may, at our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. Such restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, or orders with identical billing or shipping addresses.
In the event of an order change or cancellation, we will attempt to notify you by email or by calling the billing address or telephone number provided at the time of ordering.
We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to have been placed by merchants, resellers or distributors.
